Aysha experienced two firsts yesterday: her first Independence Day and her first taste of something besides mom's milk -- rice cereal.The photos don't lie, the rice cereal didn't really quite work out too well. It wasn't so much that she didn't like it, or even that she wore it instead of eating it -- all too typical, I'm sure. It's that her skin had an allergic reaction in the areas where she caked it on herself. Her neck and arms broke out in hives and of course, that freaked us out, so into the tub she went, where the hives went away and Aysha was a happy camper, once again.
As for 
the Independence Day part, she did surprisingly well with the fireworks and didn't really care about the loud booming sounds all around her. Culver City put on one of the better fireworks displays we've seen in a while.
